2008 - The Greater Southlake Women’s Society began preparations for their first annual fundraiser, Southlake Festival of Trees in conjunction with Southlake Town Square and the City of Southlake Christmas Tree lighting called Holiday Celebration. The theme was “Making Spirits Bright”. This three day spectacular event took place November 21–23 in the heart of Town Square. The weekend was full of Christmas festivities, which included a contest of decorated trees. The trees were voted on by the public and auctioned during the weekend. The proceeds went to benefit GSWS philanthropies. This original oil by Trish went to auction benefiting the GSWS.
